A foodie wedding in the leafy suburb of Edgbaston, with a sprinkling of Asian in the amuse bouche to the traditional wedding fayre accompanied by an exceptional wine list.
With the bride & grooms love of great food & wine & a passion for a fantastic party the menu design was a very simple process & right from the first sample menus & our initial discussions we were all on the same wavelength, the challenges lay in the location.
Set in the mother of the brides beautiful garden in Edgbaston we faced a number of challenges with regards to space, which were seamlessly rectified on arrival the day before the wedding. Wild Seasoning provided simple logistical solutions in order to deliver canapés & 600 plates of food from the marquee kitchen. Traditional British canapés re-invented & delicately spiced Asian influenced bites served alongside champagne & pimms.
Guests were then seated to enjoy a feast of miso marinated mackerel with wasabi pea puree & crispy rice, followed by hot smoked salmon with beetroot three ways, a classic medium rare lamb rump with a lamb belly croquette topped off with a salted caramel & chocolate tart with a cassis raspberry purée. The menu was complimented by a fantastic wine list which had been created during the tasting prior to the event.
The evening was managed efficiently & professionally by our FOH team led by Ally as ever & much to the approval of the bride & groom no glass was left dry throughout the evening.

We booked Wild Seasoning for our wedding catering this summer and were delighted with our canapes and wedding breakfast. Our reception was at Anna’s parents home in a marquee in the garden.
